**IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ**On 6/19/2020 Kitsap County Officials will be discussing and possibly voting on transitioning the county into Phase 3. Under Phase 3, churches can gather up to 100 people. If we enter into Phase 3 before our Sunday Worship Services, we will close down our two evening services, and expand our morning services to 100 person occupancy. If you are signed up for an evening service, if we move into Phase 3 you will need to sign up for a morning service instead.
Coram Deo Church will be gathering in-person for worship on Sunday, June 21st at 8:15 am, 10 am, 11:45 am, 4:00 pm and 5:45 pm.
Our team has been hard at work getting ready to welcome you back and we are ready to provide a safe, clean environment for worship. The steps we are taking include:
Face coverings - The elders are requesting that everyone in attendance wears a face covering. We have consulted medical professionals within the Coram Deo body and the overwhelming consensus was that face coverings are a wise precaution for now. Our heart here is that we want to love one another by making space for at-risk brothers and sisters who otherwise could not participate.
Social distancing - We will arrange the chairs in groups so that households can sit together and remain at least six feet apart from other households.
Communion - The elders will distribute the gluten-free communion elements to households throughout the room. We won't ask you to come forward. We will come to you. The communion elements will be prepared and sealed in a sterile environment to be in line with health and safety standards.
Bathrooms - The bathrooms will be available to all attendees and we will be implementing regular cleaning measures throughout the day.
No refreshments - We will not be serving food or drink at this time other than communion.
No printed handouts - We will be keeping all of our written communications online for the time being.
No childcare - We will not be offering nursery or kids classes at this time. Parents are welcome to bring crayons and coloring sheets but we will not be providing them at this time.
Our foyer - The foyer is available for parents to step out briefly with their children as needed and then return back to the service. Please don't linger in the foyer if you are able to return to the sanctuary.
Please RSVP for ALL members of your household who will be attending with you to help us know when we are nearing capacity at each service.
